Built By Few, the Summit by Connect Ventures, has always been about one thing: bringing together Europe’s best product minds. Over the past few years, we’ve seen a wave of exceptional product founders and companies emerge from Belgium and the wider Benelux region - particularly Ghent, one of Europe’s most exciting and inventive product ecosystems.
The density of ambitious teams, strong product culture, and globally minded builders made Ghent the perfect choice for the first international edition of Built By Few.
From London to Ghent
Our flagship event in London has hosted 200+ guests alongside the builders behind some of the most-loved products in Europe, including Citymapper, Dust, Aikido, and TrueLayer. This January, we took the next step, spending an afternoon with founders who understand what it takes to build opinionated products from the Benelux region that resonate worldwide.
This was a highly curated gathering, designed to spark conversations, deep dives, and networking among Europe’s most ambitious product leaders.
The Perfect Launchpad
There must be something in the water in Ghent, because the energy during our visit was phenomenal! Hosting Built By Few outside the UK for the first time was a thrilling experience, and Ghent felt like the ideal place to start. With a city packed with ambitious product companies and exceptional talent, it set the tone for the next chapter of Built By Few.
We were warmly welcomed by our friends at Aikido Security, who hosted the event in their office. The room was buzzing with energy, reflecting the momentum of a truly standout product.
A huge thank you to our incredible speakers for sharing their insights and experiences:
